e-Willy's

e-Willy's was a passion project and serves as a powerful test bed and proof of concept platform. The project started life as a 1950's M38a1 Jeep that was given to me by my grandfather. We combined all of our favorite classic elements of the Jeep with the powerful elements of electric propulsion. The 2,600 lb vehicle now has 8,000 ft.-lbs of torque at the wheels. Not only is the torque phenomenal, but it is extraordinarily smooth and controllable. Throw in a center limited slip differential, a selectable locking rear differential, and beefy Dana 44 axles and the e-Willy's project has a truck load of fun and capability--while maintaining its timeless Jeep Willy's essence.
